ROCK HALL — As part of our dedication to the safety of students and staff, Kent County Public Schools will hold a series of drills this month at each building.
Each school building will hold an active assailant drill, also known as an ALICE drill, on a different day.
The ALICE drills are being coordinated with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies. Drills may include emergency building evacuation.
The community will be notified when a drill begins and when it has been completed.
Families will not be able to pick up students while a drill is in progress.
The drill schedule is as follows:
• Monday, May 15, Kent County High School in Worton
• Wednesday, May 24, H.H. Garnet Elementary School in Chestertown
• Thursday, May 25, Rock Hall Elementary School
• Friday, May 26, Galena Elementary School
• Tuesday, May 30, Kent County Middle School in Chestertown.
