Maryland Center for School Safety app information: app download, report online or call in a tip; with link for presentation signup

BALTIMORE — The Maryland Center for School Safety is hosting a pair of virtual presentations this month on its anonymous reporting system.

The 30-minute presentation on the Safe Schools Maryland Anonymous Reporting System is being offered online at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7 and again at the same time Thursday, Feb. 23.

The Maryland Center for School Safety is using these presentations to inform caregivers and community members about what Safe Schools Maryland is, how it works and how they can keep schools safe.

The Safe Schools Maryland App, which is used by Kent County Public Schools, can be downloaded from Google and Apple.

In addition, tips can be reported online at https://schoolsafety.maryland.gov/Pages/Tipline.aspx or by calling the Safe Schools Maryland phone line 1-833-MD-B-SAFE (1-833-632-7233).

Tips also can be submitted through the Kent County Public Schools app, available for download from Google and Apple.
